what should i do?
throughout life, people make a lot of decisions. some of these decisions are miniscule. others are life altering. when it comes to decisions, people will always think differently as to the importance of certain ones. some of the most important decisions include government, comiting a crime, and the people a person decides to associate themselves with.
the choices people make about government and the people they elect to run a country could quite possibly be the most improtant decisions anyone could make. although voting might not be as important to some people as it is to others, in all actuality, it is an extremly important thing. half the people that vote will end up not getting what they want in the long run due to the person winning the election might not have been the one they voted for. but it is still improtant, none the less.
comiting a crime is another important decision. it could mean living a normal life or living a life behind bars. when it comes done to it, not comiting a crime is more important. they are a wide range of crimes for a person to comit. one could just simply steal something from a store. but they could also keep doing it over and over again. it could lead to a lot more than just stealing from a store. its not worth the risk of not being able to live a normal life just because someone wants to steal something instead of buying it. they could end up losing a lot more than just a couple dollers.
the type of people anyone associates themselves with could determine how that person lives their life. whether they drink, smoke, do drugs, that sort of thing. if someone where to hang out with the right croud, they would not have a chance to do those kinds of things. therefore, it would have a huge effect on their life. a lot of people might agree with the statement, "you are who your friends are." in a way, its true. when people make friends, they act a lot like them. but in the end, a person is always just that, a perosn. not a group of people. so no matter what, they will always be themselves.
when it comes down to it, we make choices every minute of the day. not all of of them are at all important, but every now and then we come across a choice we must make that is life altering. next time a choice must be made, make the right one. |

for the first time in my life, i realize that my real dad isn't a father to me at all. i called him and found out he would be near my grandmas house this weekend and i was already going to be also.
ME: "on saturday im gonna be over at kyles house. but on sunday ill find out if we can go somewhere and do something."
MY DAD: "oh no.. im going fishing all weekend. thats all im comin down here for. see if one of your friends can bring you over adn watch us fish adn see what we caught."
i rarely ever get to see my dad. if you had the chance to see your son who you dont get to see a lot, owuldn'tyou take every opportunity you get? ims ure you would. butr not my dad. he doesnt want to change his plans. so why should i change mine? he's probly gonna make me feel guilty for not going out of my way, changing my plans to see him while we can. but i ownt. it used to work, but not anymore. i realize who my real dad is. and its jsut tkaen me a long time.. but now i do.

i saw dodgeball last night with beth. it was wicked funny. i highly recommend it. other than that, ive been ratehr bored. hopefully i get to see megan tomorrow. but i might hang out with matt. idk... whatevah.

i got a 050 on my SAT's. i guess thats ok for my first try.. i was expecting to get much worse. so i did ok. WOOHO!! go me. now to tell my dad. hes gonna be such an ass about it. |
